Silico Manganese (SiMn) is a vital metallic ferroalloy, typically containing 60-70% Manganese (Mn), 14-30% Silicon (Si), and iron (Fe) with low carbon content. It acts as a compound deoxidizer, alloying agent, and desulfurizer in steelmaking. Primarily produced in submerged arc furnaces, its lower carbon level makes it preferred for producing various steel grades.
