Description
Sodium dichloro isocyanurate is a disinfectant used in water sanitation and environmental treatment. Sodium dichloroisocyanurate (NaDCC or SDIC) is a white, water-soluble solid used primarily as a fast-acting sanitizer, disinfectant, and industrial bleaching agent. It acts as a stable source of chlorine (releasing hypochlorous acid) for treating swimming pools, spa water, and drinking water. It is a strong oxidizer, harmful if swallowed, and can cause skin/eye irritation.
