Composition: The phosphorus content usually ranges between 15% and 32% by weight, with the remainder primarily iron and small amounts of impurities like silicon and manganese.
Physical State: It is available in various forms, including lumps, granules, powder, and briquettes.
Melting Point: The melting temperature range for ferro phosphorus with a phosphorus content of 18-25% is approximately 1100-1250°C.
Density: Its specific gravity/density ranges from approximately 5.8-6.5 g/cm³.
Reactivity: It is stable under normal conditions but can react exothermically with strong oxidizing acids. Finely divided dust may ignite when suspended in the air.
