Ferro Silicon Magnesium (FeSiMg) in the 2-12 mm size range is widely available from various suppliers and is primarily used as a nodularizer in the production of ductile iron. This specific size is often recommended for processing smaller weights of molten iron (less than 500kg). 

Product Description and Use
Ferro Silicon Magnesium is a master alloy of magnesium, iron, and silicon used in foundries to transform graphite flakes in cast iron into spherical nodules. This process, known as spheroidization, significantly enhances the strength, toughness, and ductility of the resulting cast iron, creating ductile or Spheroidal Graphite (SG) iron. The 2-12 mm size makes the material suitable for specific foundry applications where a smaller, more controlled addition to the melt is necessary.
