Description

Grout Well is used for ground stabilization and void filling in mining.

“Grout Well” refers to bentonite-based grouting materials used to create low permeability seals in wells and borings, and also as a specific brand of high-strength tile and stone grout. The specific product depends on the application.

Well and Borehole Grouting
Grout-Well® and Grout-Well® DF are one-step bentonite grouting materials manufactured by Di-Corp and Wyo-Ben, Inc.. They are used in professional drilling applications to protect groundwater from contamination and ensure the stability of boreholes.
Application: Designed to achieve low permeability seals in water wells, monitor wells, geotechnical borings, and heat pump holes.
Composition: Primarily bentonite clay with additives to enhance pumpability. Grout-Well® DF is granular to reduce dust during mixing.
Properties: Achieves a low-permeability seal (1 x 10⁻⁹ cm/sec) and swells to form a tight seal, unlike cement which can shrink.
Mixing: When added to water, the slurry should have a “pancake batter” consistency for ideal pumping with a positive displacement or progressive cavity pump.

Tile and Stone Grouting
Grout-Well is also the name of a premium, polymer-modified grout for tile joints, manufactured by Growell. This product is intended for use in construction and home improvement for tiled surfaces.
Application: Used for floor and wall tile joints (ceramic, vitrified, porcelain), kitchens, bathrooms, swimming pools, and high-traffic areas.
Features:

High Compressive Strength: Withstands heavy loads.
Water & Stain Resistant: Keeps joints clean and durable.
Shrinkage-Free Formula: Prevents cracks and gaps.
Smooth Finish: Enhances the aesthetic appeal of tiles.
Multiple Colors: Available in various colors to match tile aesthetics.
