Dichloromethane (DCM) Chemically Pure (CP) grade in a glass bottle is a highly volatile, colorless liquid solvent typically used for laboratory, research, and technical applications. It is often supplied in amber glass to protect against light-induced degradation. It is commonly used as a solvent in synthesis, extractions, and cleaning, with a boiling point of approximately 39.6°C.

Grade: CP (Chemically Pure) – suitable for general laboratory, industrial, and specialized cleaning applications.
Packaging: Supplied in glass bottles (often 1L, 2.5L, or 4L) to prevent contamination and reaction with plastic containers.

Compatibility: Glass and PTFE are generally compatible; DCM can dissolve many plastics. 

Safety and Handling: 
Hazards: Causes skin irritation (H315) and serious eye irritation (H319). It is harmful if inhaled or swallowed and is suspected of being a carcinogen.
Storage: Keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames. Store in a cool, well-ventilated, and dry area, preferably in a secondary containment to manage leaks.
