Description

Zinc sulphate monohydrate is supplied for industrial chemical processing agriculture and manufacturing.

Zinc sulphate monohydrate is a white, odorless, highly water-soluble chemical compound containing approximately 33-35% zinc. It is widely used as an essential micronutrient fertilizer to correct zinc deficiency in crops (e.g., rice, corn), as a feed additive for livestock, and in industrial applications like water treatment and agriculture. It also serves as a dietary supplement for zinc deficiency in humans.
Key Applications and Uses:
Agriculture (Fertilizer): Used for soil application (granules) or foliar spray (powder) to combat zinc deficiency, which causes stunted growth, yellowing (chlorosis), and reduced yields in crops. It helps in chlorophyll synthesis and increases plant resistance to environmental stress.
Animal Feed: Added to animal feed to improve overall health, as zinc is essential for various metabolic functions.
Industrial: Used in agriculture for moss control on surfaces, in electroplating, as a chemical reagent, and for preserving wood and skins.
Pharmaceutical/Skincare: Used in supplements to treat dietary zinc deficiency and diarrhea. Its anti-inflammatory properties make it used for treating acne and regulating sebum production.

Common Forms:
Granular (33-35% Zn): Preferred for dry soil application.
Powder (21.5% – 35% Zn): Often used for fertilizers and animal feed mixtures.
