Sweetener Feed Additive
Category: Food Feed and Nutrition Ingredients
Description
Sweetener Feed Additive are supplied to enhance taste and acceptance in animal feed. Sweetener feed additives, such as sodium saccharin, Neohesperidin dihydrochalcone (NHDC), and acesulfame potassium, are sensory additives used to enhance feed palatability, mask unpleasant tastes, and increase feed intake in livestock, particularly piglets, calves, and dairy cattle. These, often non-caloric, additives stimulate earlier intake, reduce weaning stress, and support improved growth rates.
