Description

Hydrogen peroxide 30 percent is a strong oxidizing solution used in industrial processing disinfection chemical synthesis and controlled oxidation.

Hydrogen Peroxide 100 Volume (30% w/w or w/v) is a high-concentration, powerful oxidizing agent and bleaching agent. It is primarily used in laboratory, industrial, and specialized applications for disinfection, chemical synthesis, and industrial bleaching, releasing 100 times its volume in oxygen. It is extremely corrosive and requires careful handling.
Key Details and Hazards
Appearance: Colorless, clear liquid (often in 2.5L plastic or glass containers).
Hazards: Causes severe skin burns and eye damage (H314), is harmful if swallowed (H302), and may intensify fire (oxidizer).
Precautions: Wear proper PPE (gloves, eye protection) and store away from combustible materials.

Common Applications
Laboratory & Industrial: Used as a strong bleaching agent, oxidizing agent, and in chemical analysis.
Specialized Uses: Industrial disinfection and, in high-test, specialized applications.
